White and Black 15 Inches High Quality Marble Chess Set

Ordered this product for my husband as a birthday gift. The board is beautiful, very heavy and good quality. The chess pieces were nice but not perfectly uniform. As this was a birthday gift, I contacted the company and they were happy to send me a replacement set that from a different collection. The pieces are great quality with nice detail and come with round felt to attach to the bottom to prevent scratching the board. The pieces also have nice weight to them. My husband is super happy with the set! Really impressed with the customer service of their company definitely want their customers to be satisfied!

Gorgeous...simply gorgeous! And top quality marble! There is no felt underneath the pieces but the marble is really smooth so I might end up not buying felt. If I do I found some at Walmart.com but seriously what a beautiful chess game for our home! Already had many comments from friends. People think its worh 750$!!!

I gave this 5 stars because it really is a high quality chess board and it does feel luxurious to play. My only complaints would be that there were a few microscopic chips to the board upon delivery (like maybe 2mm big) one on the tile of the chess board and a few on the corners. I guess that's natural considering it is natural stone. The chess pieces are very nice--that being said, I do wish that they were shined up a bit more. Some of the pieces are a little bit matte looking and I was kind of hoping for that glossy perfect marble finish. Definitely looks hand made, the pieces are cut in very simple forms, looks like by hand. Overall it was definitely worth the money to get this marble chess set, it is impressive looking and makes an impact when I have guests over. People who don't even know how to play chess want to play when they see this board!

SUPER satisfying weight to each piece. I'll treasure it forever. My Dad taught me when I was a child. I've taught my daughter. And she and I played tonight. She lasted a good 20+ moves! She's getting better. I think I'm just going to leave this as the permanent center piece of my table. That way I play my daughter all the time. Build fun memories talking to her and playing chess. Letting her win occasionally of course. Till she gets good enough to beat me. Cause she's smart enough. Once her brain matures a little more. She could kick my butt. I would never have left my old wooden pieces, hinge board set my Dad taught me to play on set up on the table like this. The slightest bump to the table would send the whole board scattering. But this...This shall be an heirloom of my kingdom. All those who follow in my bloodline shall be bound to it's fate. *fate- full music in the background*lol.These guys make great chess sets.

I was really struggling to find a chess board for my boyfriend's birthday, since so many people leave nasty reviews on many boards and I was afraid to pick one. However I'm so SO glad I picked this one. I recieved all the pieces, which by the way are absolutely gorgeous. Now I would like to note I don't know anything about chess and I am not familiar with how sets are usually sold but I'm very glad that they included felt bottoms in case he decides he wants to put them on the pieces. The board is also beautiful and there are no chips in it. Yes it's not perfect, but it looks handcrafted and is absolutely beautiful. I know he is going to love this set, both to play with and to use as a decorative piece. Very happy with this purchase!
