White and Green Onyx 12 Inches High Quality Marble Chess Set

Brother gave it to me for Christmas. Super high quality. Haven’t decided to use the rubber pads or not (some of them have lost their shape and are making the pieces stand crooked) one of the nicest things I’ve ever gotten as a gift

I bought this for my brother in law / best friend and just lost 2-1 our first three games. Absolutely beautiful set as someone mentioned in the reviews that some of the pads are warped. This is true but we received 15-20 extra pads and he only changed 1 of them after putting it on.
That being said, im more than satisfied with my late Christmas gift! 10/10 stars for sure :)

Well, originally I ordered directly from the shops website because they show the product was available to purchase. I did so, then received a cancellation email letting me know it was not in stock. When I purchased they converted to UK pound. When they refunded me I didn’t even get 100% of the money back.I found this 12” version on Amazon noting “1 more left” so I purchased it. I received it about 5 days later and it was damaged. It was packaged in a thin cardboard box with very frail styrofoam. All of the styrofoam was cracked rendering it useless to protect the product. Needless to say, with no more left for me to replace mine with, I will just request a refund. Other that the chip damaged, the board and chess pieces a very nice. The colors are perfect and would have made a nice Christmas gift. If you do purchase this and receive it undamaged, you will enjoy it.

I just received mine and a lot of the green pieces are chipped (see pictures). They were packaged well so I don't think they were damaged during shipping, buy maybe packaged already damaged? If this is the case then they should really do a better job of inspecting the pieces before they package them.The green onyx pieces do not match what is advertised, but I feel like that is kind of a "luck of the draw" on what color/colors your pieces are going to be. There are some reviews with pictures that match what is advertised, but there are others that do not match. About 5 of my green pieces match the advertised colors, but the rest are much more sea-foam green.It does come with individual adhesive foam bottoms for each piece, but as you can see in the photo, it will need to be trimmed down to fit correctly.It's a pretty set and I love anything made out of stone so that's why I gave it 2 stars, but I would not reccomend buying this. There are just too many chances that your pieces may be chipped, broken, or the wrong color. If you want to take a $50 gamble then go ahead, but it will most likely not come out in your favor.

I wanted a chess board, but I wanted something that would stand out. This delivered. The craftmanship is there, the pieces are a good weight, and the aesthetic is awesome. I'm considering adding some thin cork to the bottom of the pieces, or felt maybe, because a few of them like to spin after you set them down. It doesn't detract from the game any, it's just a personal preference. It's a good buy for personal practical use, a gift, a decorative piece, or whatever.
