White and Grey Oceanic 12 Inches High Quality Marble Chess Set

Pros: The marble chess set arrived well-packed and intact. The marble itself is quite beautiful on both the board and pieces. There is a subtle, marbled texture in the white pieces that is difficult to see in the photos but adds to the quality feel.Cons: This is a slightly smaller board, so the board feels just a little crowded. I felt like the carving of the figures was a bit on the blunt side making it a little difficult to distinguish some pieces from others. Slightly uneven carving on the base of one of the kings made that particular piece a little bit wobbly.Overall: This set has a feeling of high quality material, but I might have gone for a larger board size. I do wish the pieces were distinguished more visually, but I love the way they feel.

Beautiful gift!

Pieces are a little wobbly with the included foam feet. Extra feet came so we have been replacing the really bad (uneven and deformed) feet with others. A really pretty stone texture and totally worth the money. A great stone set for the price. Our cleaner dropped all the pieces and none broke.
